As I usher in a new year I can't help but reflect on the last, the places, the faces and the atmosphere that made it such a great year in general. I wanted to type up a pseudo outdoor journal that would serve as a great way for me to collect my thoughts on the year, but I just couldn't gather the words. Instead I'm making a journal of my 2009 in photos, after all, a picture is worth a thousand words. Choosing one picture to reflect each trip became its own task, as I sorted through the options the memories behind each picture came flooding back, while some may be nothing more than a picture to you, they represent a collective memory of an entire trip to me. 2009 treated you well Kurt, that's a tough act to follow! I guess I'll be the one that flops, er... follows with my Year in Review Pictures. 2009 was a great year, despite being laid-off for the first half. If anything, my unplanned time off did allow for some great trips and lots of opportunities for traveling, despite money being a bit tight. I only hope that 2010 gives me an many trips as I had this year, but of course more would be fine!

What can I tell you, it goes from Snowbird to American Fork Canyon via Peruvian Gulch and Mineral Basin. It is not open to the public and is gated on both sides. All the rest are wide open though.

Kurt the GSL and SRS trips were just awesome. I have been very lucky to have been able to get out and away from work as much as I did and hopefully 2010 will be as good or better. Its funny how all of my best memories from 09 were off the beaten path in a four wheel drive vehicle

January~ The beginning of some more work. Rock sliders, frame plates, transfer case skid plate, radiator protector.

February~ Progress on transmission/transfer case skid

April~ Front bumper made

May~ Bumpstops made, ready for some fun

June~ First trip up AF, Forest Lake trail

July~ July 24th Pioneer weekend at forest lake/ pittsburgh lake
