my 91 ex cab

i got my 2 thirds in yesterday without a problem. went and tested the rear grizzly( still no 4wd) and found my truck has some mad flex

i am quite pleased with how low it is with the 5:29's and how much flex she has.
and today i got the rear bumper done, first i was told it wouldn't work...bat shit crazy for thinking it would work but i did it, i put a taco bumper on a regular pickup. and it looks killer.

I had to keep the body lift, cut up the bed, drill some holes, grind here grind there, lil weld and wala.
If you wanna throw a 3.4 In I would be happy to trade you the 3.0
 
Iam down in moab right now, truck seems to be working great up till I tried double whammy on golden spike till this happened.

got me some new p/s parts today. my pump started spewing fluid so i decided to pick up the v6 1450 tc pump kit from trail gear
fairly nice kit, few complaints, butcertinly ones iam gonna talk to trail gear about. but she turns with no problem now

as soon as the birf/axle fit without rubbing i stopped, no need to grind more than you have too. i couldnt find a pic of the exact stone we had but it had a round tip on it so that helped, it looked more like a bullet.
 
wow its been over a year and a half since I have done an update on this truck! lets get back up to speed on this. since those pics have been taken ive put 37's on lowered it, put some led light bars on, winch, here's some pics ass of a week ago. made it up eagles nest yesterday un assisted, cant believe it made it

but now here is the cool part, I just picked up a 7mge, you know what that means? goodbye 3.sloooooooowwww and hello 7mge,dual t-cases, and lots of fun. so here's the tear down no mas 3.o hello supra
 
Very sick looking toy. I need to start working on mine again. Are you trying to keep this on the road after the swap? Is it even possible?

Being a 1991 (OBDI) it only requires a two speed emissions test, so as long as he keeps all his emissions equipment for the vehicle, and it passes the two speed test he is good to go... As far as emissions testing goes.
