I REALLY don't see the appeal of those. Not my rig, not my $. My theory is that those are the people that would have or did own an H2 that was all decked out with "off road" equipment

Yah. These people are playing dress-up with their Jeep.

Not just a Jeep thing. There's plenty of Tacomas and 4Runners out there that look like a JEGS catalog threw up on them.

Customizing vehicles is a lot like tattoos... Most people have poor taste when it comes to aesthetic car mods. If the market is limited in options they'll just settle for anything that makes them 'different'.
