lol very funny Zack he still gets a ride in his own jeep just doesnt get to drive;) sorry everyone i wanted to start this thread along time ago but im computer alliterate and get scared of them so their ya go. any question i can read and type not big words though haha

i dont know i really like my motor. dont really mind it, i have a flow tech terminator and a K&N air filter and right now im working on a ram air type deal. i had stock gears with 33s and i had plenty of power. and now i have 4.88 and 35in tires so well see if its still got it in it when im done

i dont know if you have done one or not but their pretty easy. just way time consuming, its been a neat experience. gonna finish the shock hoops and maybe the steering today so i can maybe drive just around the block ;) first test drive

looks great. What front springs are you using? they look like they pushed the front axle forward a lot (always a good thing).

from what i am told they are off of a 98 taco. and i bought two sets of the same ones and just cut the 3rd on a little shorter and so now i have six leafs instead five. and for rears im using some 2000 burban 58 inch springs and i have 6 in shackles. thanks airman for the complement. has anyone ever had a problem with the drag-link hitting the frame when flexed?

Interesting. I haven't heard of taco leaves being used up front, that's cool to see it worked out for you.

Your drag link is hitting on the passenger side when fully flexed? Are your springs flat at that point, or is there still some arch left in them?

they are barely arched at all. and i dont know if it will hit because its not done but just sitting on the ground flat it looks like the frame is maybe 3 inches taller then the drag link. so i think maybe flexed out that it will hit. but i really dont know i just wanted to see if anyone has ever had that problem. im not even sure if my springs are taco leafs thats what just been told

I set my bump stops so my springs don't go past flat. A negative arch will make your springs sag over time. My truck doesn't get close to hitting the drag link on the frame because I limit my uptravel.

ok so i have a problem i think any? well i was pushing my truck and i notice the front end is catching so i locked the hubs and it did the same thing. so i lifted it up and tried spinning the right front first and it catches and catches hard, on the driver side it just clicks. so before i get into it what the hell is this anyone know? please help. thanks in advance

is there a locker in the front? when you say the front end is "catching" what do you mean? Is it hitting sheet metal, or are the axle shafts binding, or what? Is the front driveshaft connected? I would unlock the hubs first and go from there. Were there any snags you ran into when you were building your front axle?

no their is not a locker. and that is with the hubs unlocked and know drive shaft. it is binding internal and no problems with the axle tell now:(
