I have been wondering if this will become a thing of the past? With a new owner some cost may need to be trimed. I think it is cool that shops will help others out, but when do you say when? And, who do you say when too?

Good point, and we'll have to see what the future brings... In the case of Brett, he was emloyed at one time by RL4x4, so he's kinda "special". Of course, in a Special Olympics kinda way, but special none the less.

I would never expect a shop to just allow anyone to use their space to do their own work- kinda defeats the purpose of owning a business to make money.
