My coming out!

Hey All! I've been in Utah about five years now, transplanted from the Redwood coast of CA. I have had the pleasure of visiting Moab, the salt flats and a few wasatch mountains. I still have yet to get really involved locally which is why I am here. I have been with my addiction for 15 years now, and I need a support group! :p
I have had two chevy pickups, a 52 Willy's Wagon, and a 52 Dodge m-37. I still have (and are trying to lose weight "get rid of more") a 42 Dodge WC, 88 cherokee, 98 cherokee and a 97 grand.
The Grand is in the Intensive Care Unit right now. While it was wearing a 6" lift and 35 MTR's, it was rearended. So of course it needed more surgery. It went under the torch for some nip, tucks, lifts, and implants. Details are 44 front, 14 bolt disc rear. Double triangulated rear, five link up front. 231 with driveshaft brake. 40" Hawgs on H1 rims(original backspacing). 16" lift with 15" stroke complete air suspension. Chrome antenna!
This is probably more than most are willing to read but until I become more of a regular I'm just going to lay it all out there.
Happy trails!!!

KToy-
I have actually been looking at your post on them. I already have the H1 rims and 40’s but in a perfect world I would have a second set of your 44’s too!

I have plenty of jeep stuff to get rid of myself though. It has come to downsizing at home! Axles, t-cases, trannys, jeeps are all on the chopping block.

Basically I would love to take them off your hands but my accountant would trace it back to me and they would be to big to hide under what I already have! :(

Is there anything you are looking for besides cash?

Sorry for the hijack :ugh: but what did you do for the D44 sterring setup? I've got H1 rims and need to use them to get my Scout to fit up on my trailer but the steering issue keeps me stumped. I'm using a Chevy D44 in case that helps

Thanks, Brad J

Oh, and welcome :)

Brad-
I am still putting the steering together. I had a guy machining me arms but after two months... :mad2: ...I'm going somewhere else!
Maybe to Outerlimit.

Ohms- I used to frequent your shop back when it was Factory Tubular. Great pruducts and fab skills.

Steering Arms

Brad-
More specific to your question. It will be home brewed/custom.
Not to send you away from here, but Pirate4x4 has many threads on H1 and steering. Do a few searches for H1 arms or similar and you will find plenty.

Most of the people I have come across have done their own. They normally run a "T" setup. You will find threads with tie rod end part numbers if you want to go that route and not hiems.

The shops that I have heard with production pieces are WFO, Rockstomper, and Wagoneer Machine Shop.
