MY disco truggy build

I started this project in october, Ive had it out twice since then and the difference is amazing.

I cut the top, swapped all the supension to 14 inch rancho remote res coilovers. Fuel cell, ditched air bags, PrP seats front and rear. I dovetailed the rear end, replace rear frame with a new tube frame, and Upgraded to 37" ssrs.


I still have to buy and install air bumps, new sliders.

I have a 4.6 rover V8 to install..

OK heres the only pic I have at work that shows somewhat the front links..

DOnt mind the explosion in the back end, that was in cat canyon with meat,timp, scoutabout, eric, justin and wj anyways..

YOu can see the link on the drivers side. My two uppers go from the factory mount on the body, to a upper mount on the axle, then the third link is a adjustable link in the center that goes from under the third to a HD crossmember under the trans..

as you can see wiht the 14 inch foxs in the front it flexed like mad..

OK MLK is out for me, I forget I have a buddy coming over this weekend to borrow my trailer and cherry picker to move his old rig, so I have no way to get there.. maybe next weekend...

Interesting. I have a YJ with coils in the front and radius arms and I'm not happy with how it works. I'd like to see a better shot of the center lower link if you have one. Does that drive OK on the road?

Yeah it drives pretty good, a fair amount of body roll, but its not bad. Ill climb under there when i get home, and Ill post up some pictures for ya...
