I don't smoke, but I gotta hear this one.

It just doesn't have the same impact with a keyboard and screen....it involves coming home from wheeling to find and empty house and all the cars there!(when I was still living at my parents) (And also the reason I have not been to little moab in 11 years) Now my daughter to be will never get to meet her grandpa, My Dad never got to see me (first Milner) recieve my college diploma, or get married, or....
Basically if you can't stop smoking for yourself, stop it for the ones that you love, and that love you!!!!

Watched my father in law die from emphysema. My mother in law would lay newspapers at the sides of his bed at night and he would cough up huge gobs of black stuff and spit it on em all night. You ever watch someone die real slow and gasp for every breath? Don't let anybody tell you, oh well I got to die sometime. It aint pretty.
By the way, I quit smoking after seeing him suffer. Cold turkey. Don't look back. Breath easyer!

My Mom smoked for 40+ years and my dad about 15. They would smoke 4.5 packs a day between them and they both quit cold turkey a couple months ago.

If they can do it, anyone can.

I have lost my dad,his sis and my grandparent's from emphysema.....not a good way to go,I've seen and it just isn't worth it to me....

My buddy's dad quick cold turkey. He would by jawbreakers in bulk at the grocery store to help with the oral fixation. Good luck!

Dunno about the oral fixation part of it. I didn't have any problem with that after I quit. Everyone's different though.
