Just joined up and figured I would say hello. I drive an orange 1972 K5 around the Provo area with some 35" tires (it's a dd). Seems like a great source for some local knowledge and wheeling.

Here is a picture that is nearly a year old. I think you can click on it for a larger image.

Since that picture I have lifted the rear another inch and moved the axle back 1.5". I have to get some longer e-brake lines and move the exhaust before I do any real wheeling, but I am hoping to have my 4.88's installed this weekend.

Are there very many chevy people on here? (Jeeps with chevy parts don't really count, do they?)

Welcome Blasto It is good to see more Chevy guys coming out of the wood work and joining up. I my self wheel a 89 Chev blazer. (full sizes are just more fun and sound cool  ) It is all about the V-8 :greg: Hope to see you out on the trails.

Blasto, I'm up to 3 fullsize GM's. I need a pickup to complete my collection LOL .

Wow, that is something to work up to. I have my hands full with one, I couldn't do 3 fullsizes right - not to mention the wife would have a fit.

I am by no means a dyed-in-the-wool chevy guy, but I do have an affinity for Blazers. Nothing against those smaller size rigs; they are pretty remarkable. There is something special about the big guns.

I am kinda new to all this, but I hope to wheel with some of you when I get everything straightened out.

I can't really do them right either, but it helps that 2 of them are the Burb and a CC dually K30. Don't really have to do too much to them LOL
Blazer's getting the standard low lift/60-14bolt/fender hack, and it's done for the most part.
