do you mean rocker knocker? the father right you get on axle hill, the scarier it is.

oh ya. thats what I mean.

back before unprepared people changed the trail, you used to approach axle hill from the top of a sand birm instead of the bottom of that wash. we used to side hill it and then when you get near that big rock do a front dig and claw your front end up. that was a fun line. Now all the d-bags have dropped into the wash and driven over the burm causing it to wash out. the obstacle went from fun to really easy with a built rig and really sketchy with anything that is tall or not locked.

That Axle hill is the most difficult part of the trail for the group of ZJ's and WJ's I bring through there every year.

I got a group of 12 ZJ's up rocker knocker in 15 minutes.

You have to start 5 feet further to the right than you would think, and then let the rig slide over until your passenger front climbs up on the very top making you feel off camber...keep it locked full driver until you slide into the hole with that tire and you'll claw right up it. No big deal.

thats a lot of wheelin to do alone--glad everything went ok and worked well.

Yea, I'm glad everything went ok too. I'll have to run the trail with you guys that know what your doing so I can see how it's done. I didn't think to try taking Rocker Knocker at an angle as I thought it would be to "tippy".

cool report, cool rig.. Id like to get a 4dr rubi someday. thats a lot of wheel'n in one week especially by yourself. I NEVER go alone and Ive got lots of spare parts, tools, and an on-board welder, glad it worked out. when I was reading the trails you did each day I couldnt believe how much ground you were covering. now that I know you were alone it makes more sence, when just me and my dad take out two rigs we can do an all day (w/6 rigs) trail in 3 hrs.

…we went across the cattle guard and my wife and I were just chatting when all of the sudden the front left of the Jeep comes up in the air as the right rear drops like crazy and the Jeep just stops. We get out and the road had collapsed underneath the right rear tire. It was hanging over 6 feet of air. You could see the tracks where my front had driven across the same place without collapsing it, which is a good thing, if the front had collapsed it I’m sure I would have rolled down the hill.

We did the EXACT SAME THING last Friday. It was all washed out pretty bad and neither me nor my wife saw the hole and the front end pitched into it. My wife screamed when she looked down because there was NOTHING underneath her side, all she saw was the canyon that had been carved by the rain. Before I could think, the front end came back up and the back end fell into the hole and pitched the front end up. I gunned the engine and cranked the wheel to the left and we came out alright. Except for my wife, it scared the bejeezus out of her so bad she was shaking, and for the rest of the weekend, everything we came up to, she would ask if it was hard and if she should be scared or get out. If we would've rolled down that hill, I highly doubt we would've lived through it.

 Glad you made it out alright... perhaps someone should mart the spot, fill it in or something. That's not a good thing to have happening repeatedly.

I'm glad you made it thru. Nothing worse then scaring the wife.

Filling it in wouldn't be possible, it was a trench all the way to the bottom of the hill!
