Narrowing a FF rear 60?

I appears that my update is no longer necessary, but... I ended up cutting off (well, it was sorta cut off for me...) the spindle, jigging it up and welding the spindle back on. It is easy if you have the jig parts. It is actually so easy that I am going to cut off the other side (I only narrowed one side  ) and weld it back on just to make the axle a bit straighter. I noticed when I put the jig on the side I didn't remove, that the axle is a little bent, and probably got more bent when I welded on my truss/UCA mount. Both of my axles are 60" WMS to WMS. That's 9inches narrower in the front and 5 inches narrower in the rear than my axles were on my last buggy, but my chassis is 20 inches narrower this year than last year. It's also significantly lower, and with a MUCH lower CG (it's sick how much lower my engine is). Even with the ridiculous narrowness it should be significantly more stable than my last rig. Also, I can always run spacers or wheels with less backspacing if I want a wider track. It would be significantly more difficult go narrower if I didn't cut them down enough.
