Need Help Getting a Bronco Started

I have a buddy that lives in Alaska who just got back from a deployment overseas for the military. He has an 85 ford bronco that was running before he left on his tour. Well he got back of course the Battery is dead, so he got a different one and now the truck won't start. He has power going to the coil on both sides but no spark coming out of the wire on the coil to the distributor. He replaced the coil with a new one and still nothing. I'm not a ford guy and not sure what to tell him to do. He needs to get this truck going so he can sell it to help out with bills from being deployed.

It has a 351w, C6tranny, 208 case. Help me out please

Try replacing the ignition module, seems to be the weak link on older Ferds.

x2 on the ignition control module should only be about 30 bucks.

I will have him try the ignition control module and see what it does,

test the wire from the coil to the dizzy cap. sounds simple but it got me once. tried everything, replaced it and it fired.

He switched out the control module and it worked, thanks for your help guys!!!!!!!!!
