Need recovery help

Friend of mine is stuck in mud west of Springville near Utah lake few miles south o Lincoln beach boat harbor. Tried to help w/ dodge 1500 but did not budge... Probably need a winch... Any takers for Thursday afternoon?

We got it out...tow rope coudn't handle it..took a chain and a running start. Thanks for being willing

Flown in under a Chinook, the heli ran out of gas and left the truck stranded on the beach. Originally they had intended to drive across Utah Lake but the bridge hasn't even been started let alone been completed so that was out.


I'm guessing they drove it there?

The funny thing is I used to work with CH-47 Chinooks when I was in the Army.

Then you fully understand the poor fuel economy they get, thus resulting in having to dump their cargo on the wrong side of the lake. Happens all the time.
