Need some info (engine swap stuff)

Someone needs to answer this for me.
In swaping in a fuel injected Chevy V6 into my jeep, I'm going to have to install a fuel pump of some sort. What are my options? I'm going to have to do an in-line pump of some sort. This is expensive enough already so I'm trying to avoid buying a holley or aftermarket 200 something dollar pump.
I'm sure it's going to have to be high pressure but I'm not exactly sure what range I'm going to need it in.

Another question is what the heck am I going to do for a tach, origionally I think it comes from the distributor, but now my new motor has not distributor. This may be included in my harness once I've had it modified but in case it doesn't, is there anything I can do?

For your info, I'm replacing a 2.8l with a 3.4 from a 95 firebird.

Any info would help
thanks
chris

take my word for it and fab up a mount for an in-tank fuel pump. Do it right the first time (this will also be the cheapest)...
Bracket out of an older chevy truck/blazer (88-95 or so) probably 10 bucks at the junk yard
AC Delco new pump for same style tank-- about 40-60 bucks

Those Holley pumps won't work for me, they're low pressure pumps for carbed motors, I need something that provides 35-45 psi, most of the high pressure pumps on Ebay are still around $200, I did find one with 3 days left at $49 though, so I might go that rout. Guess I need to get to the parts store.
