I think what that picture is, is that of a hole made with a dimple die. Usually you drill, cut, or other wise make a hole. Then you get some dimple dies and press them into the hole, some will cut the hole in thinner material as well.

x2... I bet they could be, too... I've made my own out of plywood and used a press before. But that was for light guage metal for body work. It wasn't a dimple die, but the same process was done...

Nice. You use them with a standard shop press? The only ones I've used were with an iron worker. Sadly I'll probably never own one. I do have a press though!

Thanks! Saved me $50, if I order them. I would still need a press and probably new hole saws which = maybe too much for some damn holes.
