Need advice on shop to replace water pump, Saratoga Springs area, or Provo/Orem/AF.
2002 Cheby Tahoe.

Chad is amazing if/when you can get into him. I have my stuff done at Big O. Used to be by the mall but moved to 8th south by the entrance of Orem Costco.

I could do it, but I am not going to do it. Budget, a remanufactured water pump is $70, a new pump with the clutch and I assume t-stat is $170ish. Labor? $75-$100 per hour.

Thank you for everyone's suggestions, I had Jeppson Auto repair the Tahoe. Great job by them. Very happy with their work.

Mind if I ask how much you paid? What all did they do?

Ended up not being the water pump. Cross over tube was leaking coolant. That cost $120. They quoted me $350 for the pump,but did not replace. I forgot, 3 years ago the pump was replaced along with hoses and belts. Happy they did not install a new pump. In that 3 years, Tahoe has only traveled 4 or 5 thousand miles. Again, happy with their service, did not sell me a new water pump.
