Neighborhood full of Christmas lights?

UNSTUCK

But stuck more often.
I heard a rumor that the homes on some street go all out and do like the 12 days of christmas in their yards? Somewhere around 5200 s and maybe 3200w. That could be way off though as the guy I talked with couldn't remember.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about or maybe somewhere else that is pretty cool to drive by?

not super close but there is a house down this way that has a light show where the lights blink along with the Christmas music on the radio. It is pretty cool to see.

Awesome . I know my kids love to check it out. Seems like a ridiculous amount of work.

added a link to there FB page. yea thats his thing, tons of hrs and money in lights and stuff, his niegbors let him plug into there power too because his power service cant handle it all alone.

We just drove by the one off of 5400. It's a neat street where each house has a sign in the yard that tells a part of the Night Before Christmas story. Santa was at the end of it and my kids just about went nuts. It was pretty cool.

If you're close by I'd check it out. Turn west on the first street north of 5400 S. Go about 200 yards then turn west again. Not worth a long drive to get there, but we live a mile or so away so it was great for us. Thanks for the heads up Nate.

There's a pretty good street just East of me, the street name is Miracle Cove. They have CC&R's that require them all to go nuts with Christmas lights and decorations--so it makes it worth driving down the street to see 'em all. :) Access it from 3100 S, just West of 7200 W.

I live in the area, they have been doing that since I was in High school(late 80's) I'm sure longer, There looks to be another place on 2700w and about 5100s behind the Taylorsville Rec. Center, I run past there from time to time, houses all lit up, but I dont know where the entrance is.

Just went and looked at all these, We liked miracle cove and the 5400 s 3200 w the best. Sure would be cool to live on a street like that.

there use to be a street up in salt lake city that was called christmas street... it was a dead end.. you drove down one side and there was a big round area at the end where they planted a big blue spruce that was totally decorated with big presents underneath it and a donation box as you drove around it you went back out the the same way you came in... it was like up near 17th east or so... and like 10th south... its been a long time since I was up that street...
They had bible scriptures in each yard that told the story of christ...

This is almost exactly how the one off 5400s is. Long, dead end street. Go up one side and read about the Night before chistmas, get to the end and turn around and head back continuing to read the story on the houses on the other side of the street.

I have to say my favorite house on that street is the one on the very end in the circle on the north side. All it has on it is the sign telling the story. Other then that the house was completely dark with no a single light on. Must have been Scrooge's house.

Thanks for the locations on the lights guys, my kids enjoyed them. This isn't one that you should go out of your way but it your near the hwy 111 and 7800 s area in west jordan, would be cool to stop by and look at. Its a house in my neighborhood. Click on the picture to see the video. He has it hooked up to 90.5
