Yup, I drive this and this .... as for the Blazer, it's tabs went through the bumper 2" out the back and were welded to the frame.

I never once said the bumper didn't look good, I said that it wont look good after the tab bends the front of the bumper out.

Gotcha...I see your point. I haven't seen that happen with any of the bumpers thus far. Aren't Warn bumpers the same way? I'm pretty sure they are surface mounted as well?

Actually most are like that. Just don't pull at an ange and all will be well.
