I am finally going to introduce myself. I live in riverton and i have a 96 ranger, 95 bronco, 87 samurai with spoa and full roll cage, and an another 87 samurai that is stock for now.

I am getting started on building the stock samurai into something that can go just about anywhere. i just picked up a ford 302 to squeeze into it and i am on the hunt for a manual trans and transfer case that will all bolt up to the 302. I don't really want to go full width so i am trying to track down some narrow track wagoneer axles. for suspension i am planning on doing a 1-link setup from and rear with air bags, I also want to stretch out the rear end to give it more wheelbase and build a small utility bed behind the stock body.

hopefully that all makes sense. any thoughts, ideas, or criticism is welcome.

You might think of toyota axles. They are about the same strength as the waggy axles.

yeah yota axles are second choice, i want wagoneers because i want to run a ford tranny and t-case and the wagoneers had the same side drop for the front

Just make sure you are looking at '79 and newer wagoneer axles. The older ones had passenger side drop.

I believe these is a 79 J10 at tear-apart with both axles. or there was last week, call to check

Not sure of the year but I think Tyler at lowrangeoffroad might have some wagoner axles he was saving for a samurai but was thinking of selling them for around $400 for the pair.
