Picked up this Tacoma a couple months ago. Still haven't gotten to test it's ability. Mostly here to find out where I can wheeling that is fairly close to home.

I live in Taylorsville and work in Sandy.

Figured I should enter a little personal information. 21 years old and going to SLCC to complete my A.S. I have a full time job working at a software company in Sandy. Mostly here to find some others that are in to wheeling.

Yeah I am sure that we will be able to find something. I probably won't be there Friday night but I might make it Saturday morning.

Welcome and BEAUTIFUL truck! Come to this next weekend: http://www.rme4x4.com/showthread.ph...e-Project-up-AF-Canyon-September-28-29th-2012

Great way to meet the great members from here as well as test the truck a little. (PS. some of the trails WILL give light scratches and or bady damage depending on terrain/angle of approach, etc... just to give you a heads up).

Trevor
Would it be possible to stay away from the trails that you have mentioned? I am not too keen on messing my truck up badly. Very anal about even how I wash the truck...

Welcome, that's a great looking rig. With those rock sliders you have already installed you should be good for most of the trails and not get any body damage. Just don't be afraid to use those things for what they were made for. A little bit of paint after a wheeling trip where you need to use them and they will still look great. If you use a spotter and listen to said spotter you already have good enough clearance where you can easily avoid using them at all.

Trails out at 5 mile and American Fork are a very good place to test your rig and not have to worry about body damage as long as you wheel smart.

Welcome to the forum. Nobody else has, so I'll just say it - if you're going to wheel, you're going to need to get used to the idea of pinstriped paint and scuffed bumpers. :)

Took these two pictures when I went out this weekend. Tried to push it a littler harder than I have before and it performed well.

Very satisfied with my truck. Just have to figure out what I hit to make it loose. Causing a terrible window drag noise at 30-40 mph.
