We had a great run out to Delta yesterday. Thanks to Craig for showing us around. I'm surprised these trails don't see more use. It was an easy day trip for us, even with 8 rigs on the trail.

Kami drove the Hell's Backbone trail, which was a lot of fun as I've spent most of the time in the driver's seat since the rebuild. This was my favorite obstacle. It was a tricky climb, with an immediate sharp right. After a few tries, she was able to front dig around it. Kind of tricky with the clutch. Stacey also drove it and put on a good show.

Sweet pics how far from delta are these trails?

It probably felt a lot further out than it really was. Maybe 45 minutes? But if you're coming from SLC, you wouldn't have to go all the way to Delta, you would turn west just after Lynndyl and save a few minutes.

I'd love to check out this trail sometime. Not sure my truck is up for it yet but I'd really like to know where it is. Looks sweet! Great pics guys, looks like you had a fun time!

This trip report should be called "Hell in Delta" with the "hell" names of the trail :)

It was a fun day of wheeling. Up until hardline broke a hub on one of the walls, (and forgot the spares at home) after James completed the trail, coming out, he broke his rear driveshaft  Good thing he decided not to go on Hells Backbone! We think he may have lost the C clip, then one of the U joint caps probably worked its way loose, and then coming out from the trail, broke the driveshaft yoke. Kinda frustrating driving that far, just to break on one of the first obstacles, but that is the name of the game.

I didnt get too many pics, but here is my contribution.

couple good ones of Seth:

Nioce pics Ben! I'll get some video when I have internet.
It was fun to have the girls drive :)
Stacie drove 90% of the trai too until she rolled her ankle before the last 2 obstacles. Even then she kept driving... she shouldn't have b/c its super swollen now :(
Thanks for the gas guys.

Great pics, thats what great about these trails, they are in the middle of nowhere and they look the same as they did 5-6 years ago

Are there varying degrees of difficulty with the trail system down there? Just curious what to prepare for when planning a trip with some friends.

Good times. Thanks everyone for the having me. Sorry I had to cut out at the end of the day. My brain was in full on shut down mode and I needed to get cooled off and get my blood sugar back up.

I will edit down some clips here in a bit.

Thanks guys for a great time, even though I broke right off the bat. It's been a long time since I broke anything, so I guess it was just my turn, I'm just sad I didn't get to complete the trails. But all in all, it was great trails with good people. I look forward to wheeling with you guys again if you will have me.

Yeah, we were sad you guys had to bail early. I guess you'll just have to plan on making it out to Richfield next time with us :D

Great company out there, it was a fun group. Guess nobody else has pics :p

:-\ Too bad, glad you made it off the trail ok. Already looking forward to next time

Everything I've seen down there is pretty intense. We ran Cat Canyon on 35s locked F/R, and it was a challenge.
