New Here From Out of State

Hi everyone, I recently moved to Salt Lake City from out of state and just discovered this wonderful site. I'm from Northern California originally and am looking to do some exploring in my Tacoma. It's got a 2-3" lift, Duratracs, the factory e-locker, a winch, armor, and lots of cool switches that light up . I'm a pretty experienced driver, though most of my wheeling has been in an old CJ7 rock crawler that currently doesn't run (and is still in storage in CA). If anyone feels like doing a trail run or can recommend some good 4wd roads let me know! And where is this "snakes" area that people are talking about?

welcome! snakes is part of the 5 mile OHV about 40 min SW of SLC. watch the "upcoming trips" section and come along to ant trips you can make.

Thanks for all the welcomes! I'm from San Mateo originally, lived in Sacramento for a while, then came out here. I just checked out American Fork Canyon on a map--I think I might have to do some exploring there this weekend. The snakes area looks pretty intense! It makes me want to get my old CJ out here.
