My father-in-laws transmission went out on his 1990 Dodge Dakota yesterday. It is a manual tranny. Where are some good places to get it rebuilt or get a new one?

I'm guessing since it says Spanish Fork it means near SLC. If so you might want to call Six States and see what they have.

I had Action Transmission, in Provo, rebuilt my T400. They did good and didn't kill my wallet. Call them and speak with Joe.

He said that he found a remanufactured one that has been dyno'ed for $1400. The one he just blew was rebuilt around 25,000 miles ago and cost him $1300 he said.
