I thought I would take a second and introduce myself to everyone on this forum. A couple people on this forum will already know me, but I am from Price and a pretty close neighbor to great scott on the forum. I am fairly new to the sport of off-roading since I only bought my Jeep 2 years ago.

I have a 97 Jeep TJ that is moderately outfitted (need to upgrade a few things as I break them). It has a 4 inch Teraflex long arm kit, 35 inch tires, terralow 4:1 transfer case, SLE, and many other small goodies. On the list for near future upgrades are the axles and lockers at both ends, full rollcage, tube fenders and whatever else I can sneek by the wife.

I have a pretty extensive background in racing motorcycles and actually spend more time on my bikes than I do in my Jeep. I also own ATV's, mountain bike and hike. I am also pretty heavily involved in land use issues, so you will probably see me pretty active in that forum. My soap box statment on this, is that land use is not about one particular group. It is about every group-full size, atv, motorcycle, mountain bikes.....anyone who wants to use public land and have access to it.
To quote one of the greatest activists for land use that I know

Without all of us working together, SUWA is going to hand our ass to us. We are not going to beat them in funding, so we need to do it with work.

I am associated with several user groups. USA-ALL, Sage Riders M/C, Castle Country OHV, Castle Country King Crawlers, BRC & U4WDA.

See you on the trails.

Welcome to RME! Sounds like you'll be a great asset to our community. There's dozens of others on here who also do the motorcycle/ATV thing in addition to the 4x4's including myself.

Price is a great area, I need to get up there again and see more of it.

Welcome. I found the easiest way to get things past the wife is to use the same line she uses with you. "Oh, this old thing? I have had it for a while."

Keep us posted on when and where we can work.
