Someone PLEASE buy my '89 Sub. It's lonely.......worst case it'd make an awesome buggy/Jeep powertrain swap. TBI 350/T400/241 and 3/4 ton axles. It's in GREAT shape for the year and my wife wants it gone.

I would have bought a V10 Ford for the right deal and truck. It's all about your personal financial/intended use/intended time of ownership/etc. equation. Different equation for everybody.

I have heard the Ford V10 was okay for fuel mileage. But I also heard they spit spark plugs out of the aluminum heads.

From everything I've read, that is only the early ones. '99 and '00. The spark plugs only engaged about 3 threads. I believe that's corrected (from what I've read)?

hopefully not! seems like everything i have ever owned needed work. sorry if the ford bash was hurtful, just joking... i am a ford homey now
i'm just glad you got a diesel, even though fuel prices suck.
my truck got a steady 14mpg and the bronco only gets about 12mpg, but gas is much cheaper than diesel fuel.

Tough to fault it so far. (I kinda wish it was an F350 rather than F250, but it's not a biggie)
