48 volt lithium battery, 10,000 lb capacity, and packaged like a rotopax gas can so you can store it about anywhere. I love the concept of this thing.

I don't think pricing has been set yet. Supposedly coming out later this year. Hopefully it's robust because this would be one handy sucker!

Unlimited rope length? 360 degree anchoring? It sounds more like a rope-puller thing rather than a winch. (meaning, it doesn't spool the rope at all, it just pulls it through itself. Or something?)

Agreed. I’ll be checking in on it occasionally to see what reality is when a real product is released.

I got a few messages about this back in March. Then it was described as a "Continuous Capstan Mechanism" with a 2500lb single pull rating. The 10k would come from pulley blocks.
