New World Order...

Put on your tinfoil hats before watching this one. :spork:

I'm not proud of it, but I've never really cared about history or taken the time to understand the way the government works. But this video has motivated me to become more informed and more educated. This is 2.25 hours long, so you'll need more than a quick lunch break to get through it.

the part at 1:15:45 to 1:16:25 is VERY interesting.

I ran out of tinfoil after the last version of this. :/

Time to move on to copper mesh.

It's interesting to see these subjects becoming more mainstream now, which IMO is good (thank you internet). Hell, five years ago you mentioned Bilderburg and people would just write you off as having a lot of loose screws. There's a big list out there of conspiracies that used to put you on the nut list that have now been proven as quite factual. Crazy times.

I'll have to watch this later.

I have a son-in-law whose life has almost been destroyed by all this conspiracy crap. His wife (my daughter) is ready to can him and all he can do is watch all these videos just like this one. He is convinced that the illuminati are taking over or 911 was our own doing or airplanes are dropping mind control gas from their jet nozzles. I would rather read an inspiring ww2 story about real heroism or patriotism. I grow tired of all the USA bashing, we are much better than all that b.s.

Ah yea, that's no good. There's a difference between having an open-mind and being educated about some of the darker things that are going on in the world vs. becoming completely obsessed with the "sky is falling". I don't see it as USA bashing at all, part of our freedom is being able to question what is really going on in reality rather than just being part of the herd. That's the USA I'm proud to be a part of. ;)

That said, I still have not watched this vid.

No doubt, this video isn't for everyone. I don't think everyone should see it. You have to be pretty open-minded.

in my opinion, the video spent way too much time on the Bilderburg meetings (first 50 min), but I'm still glad I watched the first 50 min. After the first 50 min it gets really interesting to me, especially when they reviewed some scary things in America's past; things I thought "could never happen in America." I don't feel that this video is "Anti-American", rather anti-new world order.

Like I said, not for everyone, and take it all with a grain of salt. I found the bullhorns and protest parts obnoxious, but the historical review was very informative to me.

But I totally agree with Mark and Shane, it can get out of control if you fixate on it. This video isn't for everybody. My sister in law is really into this stuff (too much imho), and she tried to cram it down my throat about 5 years ago. I didn't want to hear it, and I wasn't at a position to even watch it.

I think there are a lot of crazy claims out there, but I found this to be interesting food for thought. I don't want to push this on anyone. I love the idea that americans have a say about what happens in their country. Any agenda that tries to undermine that is scary to me.

I would say that the son in law is messed up and that even without the "conspiracy crap" his life would be on the verge of something spectacularly mentally disordered.
As for the USA bashing - I for one am glad that people show decent over what is going on in the USA today and that USA bashing happens (even if our government is trying to get all Stalinist and silence decent and USA bashing). YMMV but the U.S. didn't become what it is today by weak and silent people.

I would say that the US has become exactly what it is today thanks to weakness of spirit and character. The greatest generation spawned a monster.

Agreed. Also, I wasn't refering to this video or Steve speaking about country bashing. There just seems to be a lot of it in the news and with a lot of the people I meet and talk to. There is a big difference voicing opinions and working hard to change things for the better and just sitting around talking trash about the U.S. waiting for a hand out.

If you are condemning him for that then you are doing the same thing for A LOT of people in this country because many feel the same way he does and they are not "on the verge of mental disorder"

Oh, I am pretty sure when you say "decent" you mean dissent right? Or verbally expressing or showing negativity toward persons or policy.
