go with a supercharger not a turbo.. Instant Low and midrange power. Good for both the trail and the dunes. Throw a cam, f.a.s.t rails and a centrifugal supercharger @ it and you will be happy. Turbo won't do you any good on the trails. You will always have to power brake it to get it to spool. Look @ gregs old rig. That had a 5.3l in it and the guy that bought it put a root-style supercharger on it and that does rally well...I guess.. I wanna put a centrifugal charger on my 5.3l but they are BUCKS..
