recently my dash/marker lights have stopped working on my 89 xj, every-time i change the fuse it just burns up, thought it was corrosion in the rear light housing bulb holders but it wasn't. has anyone had this issue before on their xj's and may be able to identify the problem? i do know its a short somewhere but where are some common spots for this to happen?

thanks, chris

I had a simmaler problem. Make sure you check all your fuses. The way mine was wired the light went through more than 1 fuse and with the second one burnt out it was overloading the first one. Make sure to check both fuse blocks.
