if you read the link they talk about what it is. It's an Egyptian military jeep (like a JK) with a stretched wheelbase, D60 rear, dynapro 44 front, leaf-sprung rear, arb's, new clip, liberty diesel motor, chopped top, and a bed

well then the one in the video is not the one in petersens 4wheel mag at EJS because that one was a JK with a new front clip high fenders and a hemi and a truck cab and bed. Basically a JK with a new body and engine

right. We're saying it's not the same rig as the one in pedersen's that Krany refered to

Well here is petersens article on it ... Same rig as the video..
they even say its based of the J8 (egyptian military jeep) chassis

Nukizer 715

Whereas the Mopar guys are looking to show off new and future products with the Immortal, the Jeep Design Studio's Nukizer 715 is reminiscent of the late '60s Kaiser Jeep M715. This concept was built to showcase Jeep's military heritage and to continue investigating the idea of a Jeep brand pickup.

The bed of this battleship is a modified AEV Brute bed that has a recessed spare tire divot and Boyce Equipment military lights. The soft-top was custom-built by Bestop for this classified concept, while the jerry can carries gasoline for the guzzling V-8 Jeeps that run trails with the Nukizer.

The Nukizer is based off the foreign military Jeep J8 chassis with a set of Dynatrac axles underneath. The rear is a tried and true, full-floating Pro Rock 60 above some leaf springs, while the front is a custom hybrid ProRock 44 with a new 35-spline ARB air locker and Dynatrac 60 steering knuckles holding up some coils. Feeding both axles is an Atlas transfer case and Tom Wood's driveshafts.

Rattling away like a turbocharged sewing machine, under the hood is the military variant 2.8L turbodiesel four-cylinder engine. This engine is standard fare for the military J8s, but the Nukizer was treated to a hopped-up version to more easily push around the 124-inch wheelbase and 38-inch BFGs. The custom fiberglass front clip is longer than the JK front clip so the original cooling system remains intact.

Ok, thanks for clearing that up Orvis. I was going off of Krany and sparticus' replies. I hadn't read the article yet.

Invisible, on purpose!
And this is the only thing that would stop me from getting one, the price. For the price of a 4 door rubicon unlimited you could buy many other vechiles and upgrade them to be the same if not better and spend less. I do think the JK 4door is the only jeep i really like and the options from the factory are outstanding but, in the end you'd be better off buying something else and moding it for less

:rofl::rofl:! Add up the cost of D-44's with lockers & 4.10 gears, a 4 to1 kit & an SYE for the t-case, electric swaybar disconects, 1.5 " lift, cooling & braking upgrades, plus all the labor to rip out all that old stuff & replace it with all the upgrades..... You'll never come close to beating the $6,000 price for that option!:rofl::rofl:

Not to mention that it was all designed to work together & fit in that vehicle ( no custom BS ) & it all comes with a factory warranty!:D ( Which you would loose if you did those mods to another brand new rig:-\ even a Jeep!!

cool stacey. I like the whole package of the nukizer, not just the fact that it's a jeep with a pickup. I've seen pickup jeeps and they haven't done anything for me. But this thing is the complete package. I love the retractable top, i love the diesel, I love the old school bed rails, i love the grill, I love the huge tires and low stance. But I'll admit, they wouldn't sell enough of these to make them worth the cost.

it's alot more than 6000 bucks. I was refering to something more like this article http://www.4wheeloffroad.com/featur...ser_vs_jeep_jk_wrangler/wrangler_rubicon.html
Dosent have to be a FJ but you can buy other 4X4's for many thousands less that already have 4.10s and a rear locker and that just need a SAS for the front and transfer case gears. The Fj in the article was 8000 dollars cheaper!
Anyways sorry for the rant i like the JKs just think they are way to expensive
