I"ll be at the table w/membership forms, stickers, shirts, and whiskey! Just kidding, I won't have stickers. HA!

Yes, I will... for everyone who forks over a day's Taco Bell money for land access! DO IT! It feels good.

And please, introduce yourself. I don't know too many of you in person. :D

We had a pretty good turn out considering the weather.

It was plenty chilly when we got out there, we talked for a bit then at around 9:30 we headed out to gather trash. Somewhere around 10:30 it started to rain, then it started to rain harder.... By the time we were pulling out to head to Mi Ranchito for lunch it had started to snow HARD. At 9am it was about 45F, when we left it was about 28F :ugh:

The dumpster got another big addition, we were at the dumpster in the snow storm dropping off our last bag of trash when the BLM ranger came by and asked us to go a pick up a dryer that was down the road a ways. So we loaded it into the comanche and added it to the pile of stuff. We were all wet and cold and figured we needed a ride to warm up so we went and ran rattlesnake and hit some of the trails south of there. I had the wife drive rattlesnake and she did great. Had a good time meeting everyone.

Big thanks to everyone who braved the weather, the wind, and the mud to get out there and do the right thing. You have my thanks and admiration.

Extra big thanks to the Buckmillers, who were both the first there, and the last to leave, and managed to haul the heaviest load (of concrete chunks!) in the fambly MJ. Woot!!

Everyone was wet, cold, and hungry by the time we wrapped it up. The hills were slick enough that I nearly fell into a truck-deep ravine, as well as nearly getting stuck in several muddy whoops in the trails. And after nearly sliding into Timpanogos in the 5MP mud pit, I DID slide into Greg on the road into Lehi. :(

Big raspberries to the wet roads for that one. :( :(

Had the weather been better, our motley band of trash gatherers could have cleaned up Rush Valley something fierce! But alas. :D

Everyone who didn't show up, or never planned on it, you missed a good time with good folks for a good cause! And free shirts! They make excellent clothing, in addition to reported excellence as oil-thirsty towels. ;)

Mark your calendars for next year. As for me, I will pack snowboarding gear, and big airbags for my bumpers for next year. :D :D

Thanks again everyone!

Good times, except for the weather. I slid around one corner in Lehi on the way home and amost ended up in a ditch. It was snowing hard at the time. Sorry I didn't make it to Mi Ranchito, but by the time I got to I 15 I was ready to get into some dry clothes and get warm. Took 30 minutes in a shower to thaw out.

Nice to see everyone out that made it. Didn't even recognize Cody until he came up. Doh. Bummer about the accident on the way home.

Last chance for someone to submit a 250+ word recap of the RME NPLD project to be included in the next Compass. Tonight's the night.
