SO I KEEP HEARING ABOUT THIS OAKER LOOP TRAIL THAT STARTS IN TOOLE AND GOES OUT BY SOME OLD HISTORIC MINING TOWNS HAS ANYONE DONE IT AND IF NOT THEN WHO WOULD WANT TO DO IT?? I WANNA GET A GROUP TO GO OUT AND GET SOME FOOTAGE ON THE GO PRO... AND TO JUST MEET SOME NEW PEOPLE ALSO!!! LETS SET SOMETHING UP GENTLEMEN :thumbs:

it is a easy trail you will get pin striping as it is mostly run by ATV's, at one point Tooele County had it marked as ATV only and were supposed to change that but I don't know if that was ever actually done.
Might be interested in taking my Subaru up, depending on when you go

ive always wondered if there are any trails up in the oquirhs. we found a couple on the backside of butterfield canyon last summer, but nothing great. although the overlook above Kennecot is pretty sweet

Does butterfield canyon (access) go through anymore? If not, for the overlook above Kennecott do you come in from Tooele or Herriman?

Butterfield still goes over. It closes for winter. I don't know if its open yet.
