Obama is going to save 100 Million $$

UNSTUCK

But stuck more often.
I think Obama should watch the movie "Dave". Even he was able to balance the budget.

I saw one like this a few years ago that explained the same scenario just a different Demo. President. Can't remember who.

assuming that is accurate, that's very illustrative.

You made my question the content....

100,000,000 = one hundred million
3,500,000,000,000 = 3.5 trillion

Doing a little math on that and the that is 2.86% of the total, and the video is showing a much smaller percentage than that. If that table is representing $100 in pennies he should have been taking 286 pennies out not one quarter of one penny.

Unless I have not understood something correctly I think that I just saw a misleading youtube video. And I thought that everything on the internet was true :hickey:

Yeah, he is off by a bit.

If each stack is worth 2B and the total is 3.5T he should have 1,750 stacks. He claims to have $100 in pennies, but that would be 2,000 stacks of 5.

But cutting the one penny into four is correct - assuming that each penny is work 400M.

Check that 2.86%. I got the same but the decimal place a few to the left.

So he is still close. Just over by 250 stacks. Depressing demo nonetheless.

Note: I think that is right. I've been doing homework all day so I may have calculated that incorrectly. :-\

Edit: my number was a bit off. I watched the video again and the debt he used is 3.52T where I only used 3.5T. So the info in the video is correct. I calculated 8,750 pennies and he states he used 8,880 or something along those lines.
