Ohh clear-type I love you...

I was staring at my desktop and wondering what was wrong with the lettering in web pages and I realized it was that Clear-Type was not enabled...whoa...what a difference.

right click on your desktop...

click on properties...

Click on appearance...

Click on effects...

On the second menu option click the box to enable it and then click clear type out of the selection drop down menu...then OK and ok and then close out of the deal...ahhh

I have a 19" 16X10 LCD monitor and it makes all the differnece in the world.

Been using that for a long time. Any computer that I get on, I change that so that it's on. Soooo much better.

I use a CRT and it looks a ton better on mine. On my parents LCD, when I turned it on, it didn't do much at all.

Monitor can't support it. Changed the settings on the card and my monitor just goes "out of range"

Nope, won't do it. I wanna pick up a nice widescreen LCD sometime

The prices on the widescreens started to plummet this summer so I picked one up...one of the few frivilous purchases that I never once had a touch of buyers remorse for spoiling myself. I put the old 15" lcd to the side and now I run duals...fabuloso!!
