Ok ok.. I know your getting tired of it.. but this is worth a gander... HDR OF A FIRE

I was sitting at my desk, in my office looking at how gorgeous today was, stuck behind this chair... and started to feel reallll ancy to get out.


The detail guy comes running in, to let me know a huge plume of smoke just started coming up about a half mile away...

I needed no prodding, or anything....


This is what I found waiting for me

The second image will be amazing once I process it a bit better, these were all hastily taken, and maybe 5-10 mins of lighting adjustment, didnt fix ghosting yet.

Yes, Photomatix 4.0 64 bit, and Camera Raw, and Photoshop cs5
Shooting with a Canon 60d sigma 17-50 OSM OS EX

I am sure im overdoing it on some, or on some that probably do not deserve it, or that just dont plain work.

This is day 4 of HDR for me, just getting some done, seeing what I do not like, and going with the ones I do. I have to put out quite a few to really get the hang of it, and Handheld is not the way to go, but I had to just give it a whirl, if I had a tripod id have been a much more sharp on the HDR.

Thanks Amy, North Davis Fire District is buying about $700 in prints, to adorn a few fire stations

I am also going to be allowed to setup the fire trucks, and do some HDR of them. Next, Hill Air Force Base hangar shots, and on the runway.... still working on those.

I fixed the ghosting on the Ambulance, leaving the scene. Just now.
