Ok, that's just depressing

I just realized that today is 2 years to the day since my last trip out in the K5, which was the trip where I murdered it and retired it afterwards.

Now I'm depressed :(

It gets worse, you switched to a Trailduster....

No need to be bummed, you've probably taken that Dodge out in a lot more different places than the poo pipe special.

What is wrong with the K-5?

LT.

I wasn't getting any work done towards building my TJ because I kept wheeling (and fixing) the K5. So after a hard trip to Cat Canyon I decided to let it die, and get to work on the TJ. I worked to gather parts.... I was distracted by life in '08.... and I just kept wheeling other vehicles of the expedition variety.

Well, now I have a lot of really good parts for a TJ and absolutely no interest in fabrication or mechanicing. But a lot of interest in buggy trails :-\

Been there, done that. I let my last rig sit on the trailer for over a year because of a broken spring and busted driveline. Burnout hits all of us sooner or later.

I got tired of all the wrenching, and sold it. Picked up the LJ for a daily driver and weekend warrior. Granted, I can't do the stupid stuff I used to. But. any day out is better than a day in the garage.

You sir, have a real problem there. I am a little suprised by your lack of motivation. Not really knowing you very well I have followed your TD build and have seen you have a knack for all the wrench turning. Why not just finish the TJ build and wheel it. The parts list looks like you have a lot of work ahead of you if you just buckle down and get to it.

Meat has no ambition to work in his shop, it doesn't have A/C. Besides, Meat FINISHING a project, is about as likely as me being a swimsuit model. not gonna happen.

I'll prolly go through 5 more rigs before Meat finishes the TJ. BTW, the LJ is for sale, possibly a new record, even for me.

WORD!!

Aww come on! I go stir crazy if I can't work on my rig. Even if it's not broke I always find a something to improve. Wheeling it after is just the bonus.

It's probably just my way of spending that excess energy I have stored up from sitting in front of a computer all day for work.

I use to feel the same way. I completed 5k worth of mods, wheeled it once and now it sits.....

I had planned on rebuilding the commando this winter, but now I think I might just sell it.

I don't even have any interest in reading the posts on the forum... suxs..

Burned out.
