This is getting rediculous! $2.05 for unleaded in lehi, just down the street...... $2.90 for diesel????

And don't tell me it is a supply and demand thing. I demand that we get supplied.

Politicians sure jumped through hoops when gas was outrageous. It's sure nice of them to follow through with all our fuel needs after the elections ended!!

I know that the change to ULSD costs, but almost a dollar more a gallon?

Bullsh@t!

that sucks. In SLC Cardwell's bio is consistantly about 10 cents cheaper than normal D. Do they have to do something stupid to bio for winter stability?

I am sure you have seen it before; it has been on here before, but check out these two sites:

$2.05 is cheaper than anywhere in SLC. And $2.90 is a little high for diesel, but is not off the chart. What makes me mad is that we lived with the high prices for a long time, and one question by the governor and media and the prices suddenly dropped. Where is the Gephart on steroids for that investigation?

B20 with normal winter blend 80% is fine for the winter....Been in the Libby from day one! Even the single digit nights a few weeks ago....

B20 at Dal Soglio is $2.65.
Cardwell on State is not selling bio for the winter:mad2:

PS: Diesel should be less than gas, but add the cost of ULS and it should be about the same as gas....NOT $.80 more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have notice that diesel is prices are more in line with gas towards the middle of the country....

That explains why all their pumps said $4.99!! I am about tired of this fuel game. Where is Dal Saglio?

Thats almost comical when you think about it...
"We don't want to tell people that we don't have any, so lets just post the price so high that no one will want to buy it."

And Ditto on Dal Saglio location.

I thought the price jump was because of the 2007 Diesel low-sulfur regulations.

I am known to wear a tin foil hat, but I kinda get the impression that the 2007 Low Sulfur requirement is the excuse for the price jump, not hte other way around.

I vote we bring back the fuel price regulation laws of the 70's that good ol' james carter pres. eliminated during his reign as head of US.

I say we quit screwing around, catering to politicians and oil mongers and actually produce bio on a large scale and re-employ americans!! Screw OPEC!!

The whole "It's to costly for a startup venture" is pure horsesh#t! It's really "We can't come to an agreement on how to tax it"

I am sick of the stock market having an impact on what I pay for fuel.

And just FYI, you've all been running 2007 ULS Diesel in your tanks for about a year now for the transition... wether it was posted on the pump or not.

For being a bi-product of gasoline, Diesel prices sure are pretty high...

Just a side note. I work for a steel fab shop in SLC. We currently have secured (2) contracts to build the tankage for (2) separate bio fuel farms. They suiting up to make this stuff on a much larger scale here in the near future. These are being built in Kansas and East Colorado, but shipping is inevitable given the scale of these projects. We stand a good chance to secure quite a few more of these contracts also. Just thought I'd pipe in and say how production of bio is about to skyrocket.

What pisses me off is everytime gas drops a few cents diesel goes up. It's like they are trying to make up for the money lost on regular. :mad2: :mad2: :mad2: :mad2: :mad2:
