And cashiers that act like they've never seen cash before piss me off

What about Cashiers who don't know how to count money?

This is why I usually always pay with my bank card... I'm tired of recounting my cash after I pay for something.

At my work I get asked all the time if we have a senior discount, I ask them why they should get a discount for taking more time to help, they should be glad we don't charge them more. It is a good thing that most of them can take a joke:rofl:
I had an old lady tell me that if she dies soon she was going to come back and haunt me....:ugh:

I love old people, I hope to be one some day:greg:

That is awesome! Did you laugh at her? I would've.

I've heard tellers say they prefer it when people pay with debit/credit cards. It cuts down on their hassle - they just have to press a couple buttons and hand you your receipt.

Speaking of receipts, anyone who attends UVSC knows that the food court/cafeteria is overrun by asian workers. Yesterday, after buying some nachos, the asian chick asked me if I wanted my receiPt. Yes, she included the 'p' sound. I thought that was pretty funny.

Hey, as long as they are friendly and courteous, no problem!

Out here (Pittsburgh) a lot of the inner city folk work the drive throughs. And by "inner city" I am not refering to any race in specific. All colors live in the inner city . . .
Anyway, some of these people couldn't care less about getting your order right, about even SEEMING friendly, or acting like they care about their job.

I can respect someone who doesn't speak english, but works their butt off at a job. I can NOT respect someone who sits on their butt all day, and develops an undeserved sense of entitlement.

I was in some fast food place a while back that showed pictures of what the change should be on the monitor.
I payed with exact change, and the cashier was really confused.

Nah.. wasnt betos. I'm not even sure it was in utah. They literally had pictures of how many pennies dimes, nickle etc... Betos isn't that high tech. I think they just train their cashiers to give you .57 cents back no matter what.

the worst is when they pay with a check book, don't fill it out and then stand there and have to put the check book back in there purse and rearrange things before they get the hell out of the way for the next customer to buy their items. i also like the guy with the multiple cc who can't decide which one to put it on because of flyer miles and what not.

My personal peeve is misuse of the 10 items or less aisles. And I usually say something.

Crying to yourself, and throwing a massive tantrum when you get to your car is NOT saying something.
Sorry. :-\

Why should I stand in line 20 minutes, to spend 5 minutes giving YOU my money? I wonder why internet shopping is taking off so fast......

Face it, poor customer service sucks and we've all been through it. If every teller was busy, then you're just busy. But when I go to a place with a 20 minute wait, with half the check stands closed? That's poor service, and I don't return.

let me guess......you are gunna come to my house and try to get me into quickstar:rolleyes: lol lol

internet shopping has its own share of pitfalls. but its usually harder to find someone to fix the problem. in the store, just ask for the manager and the problem is usaully fixed on the spot......not so with the internet.....

I work in a cell phone store in St. George (old people heaven) these types of situations are an everyday occurance. its usaully because gramps can't get his voicemail, or some dumb thing. problems are caused by poor people skills.
