After Years of wanting a wrangler, and debating on getting a scout. I Happily went with the Jeep (The wife said the scout was too old for comfort.)

Out with the old. (My 1996 Jeep Cherokee I have had for about 4 years)

Nice, I used to have one that looked similar. It was a fun ride. Looks like its in decent shape other than the windshield frame.

Yeah the windshield frame will need some attention. But it was a ST. George jeep so the only rust is in the self made holes, and general surface rust. I honestly think the windshield frame is the very worst looking part of the whole thing.

What's your plans for it?
As of now I'm going to leave it how it is. When funds further permit I plan high fender kit font and rear, and upgraded axles, beefing the cage up more, and stretching the wheelbase to 100"

lame. Another Jeep to the flock
I was pretty set on getting a scout, The wife agreed if I get the jeep, after its "upgraded" I can get a scout to start on, and she can drive this.

How does your wife like the ride? I found the Scout a much better ride.
I would agree with you on that. with the longer wheelbase, and larger alxes the scout defiantly is a more secure ride, and i think more comfortable.
