Over Night Camping @ Silver lake?

I want to go camping but am not sure if you are allowed to camp at silver lake. I am aware of the campground before you get off the paved road but was wondering if there was any camping allowed closer to the lake.

Not sure at Silver Lake but I know if you head up the other fork from Tibble, there is a sign that says only camp in designated camp areas...or something like that. Pretty common in rec areas.

Are you talking silver lake flat? If so, then no, you cannot camp at the lake. However, if you cross through the creek that runs into the lake, there are some good campsites up the road a little ways. Its been a few years since I have camped there, but it was legal then. FWIW, Silver Lake is actually a third lake above silver lake flat and is a couple mile hike. I think you can camp up there.

You can camp at silver lake flats once you are 1/2 mile from the lake.
