, but they won't help you up escalator or dump bump or anything for that matter.

cool. so did you do any real obstacles or trails then? ;)

Yeah, Bryson, Cory, and I passed a bunch of peeps on the way home. I think we made the trip in 3:15 which isn't bad.

I think that my multicolored full bodied XJ is even better looking :p

Yeah because everyone can go out and just buy a solid colored XJ, but yours is special. :p

no i was not, i went to a place that looks just like moab...
was your buggy down there? i didn't see you... it seems the tables have turned. let me ask you a question: were you even in moab???

Don't get fooled by that place that looks like moab. It's a trap.

Oh yeah, I was there from Tuesday till Monday.

i'll admit i drive an ugly rig... and it's a samurai, so it's ugly no mater what... but i bet you didn't get your rig for free did ya? :D ... and mine even came with a frame ;)

i didn't know looks were that important to you... i'm more into performance.... and if your rig works well, than that's great. mine doesn't, and that kinda sucks.... but even if it works flawlessly for you, i am still saying it's ugly... cause it is... :) ... and that's my opinion...

:suka:

you are entitled to your opinion so i can't argue much there.
samis are not ugly, at least not all of them... and they can work very well but it takes time and effort and jeep parts to get them there :D
the looks are not that important to me at all because it performed better than i had ever dreamed and it is only the first phase... i don't even have my traction bar built yet!

hahaha, jeep parts.. that's funny... cause i do have jeep parts.. just springs though... that's good that your rig is working great though.... one day, one day i too will have a rig that works.. :D

what do you mean "real obstacles or trails"? hehe
i didn't do potato salad... and i heard that is the hardest thing in moab ;)

it went up everything i pointed it at almost
dump bump was just plain stupid easy, the first time i did it they did'n't even have time to snap the picture till i was at the top, its in my album... i am hanging my hand out the side and saying something smartass about how easy it was. there were like 3 people watching... sunday was a pretty slow day.

the only thing i didn't make it up that i tried was double whammy. i was in serious need of a traction bar on that one and i would have had to hop to do it. hop=break, break=no fun on the first trip out

escalator was my favorite because it took a lot of effort and thinking and i made it. i banged the pass side cage a couple times and let her down on the driver side once... the video footage is cooooool, i might have to put it on imagestation.

there were some way cool obstacles on poison spider and gold bar rim and golden spike... but nothing too extreme. and cliffhanger was better than i remember too.

we wanted to run pritchett, but a couple people in the group weren't up to it and we didn't want to run another long trail after ps, gold bar and golden spike.

i concur

hey some jeep parts are usable for samis. put 6.5 to 1 in your case and throw in cherokee chief d44s and you are ready to wheel for the most part. that is a good budget build imo.

the tilting is cool huh? not my fault my cameraman sucks!!! notice the pics i took are not tilted? for some reason he has this thing with tilting, it really kinda sucks... last time we went out he tilted the camera the other way and everything looked flat, kinda interesting.
