Holy smokes those are incredible. What camera are you using?

The winter glacier landing pics were taken with a 3-4 y/o 4.0MP Kodak Easy Share..

98% of these photos were shot with my Kodak EASYSHARE Z712 IS which has 7.1 MP, 12x optical zoom, and Optical image stabilization - $230.00

I toted a friend's D40 around on some trips, but maybe 1 or 2 of those pics are of the ones i've posted here...

I'm very happy with $230 for such awesome pics. I will have a D40 or similar one day though.. Not enough $$$ at the moment.

What areas were those taken in? I plan on going to Glacier NP next year and may have to extend my trip plans further North. You made it hard to choose which new screen saver I will have.

I'm honored by your kind words :D

Most of the photos that I took were shot in and around the Denali Park area. There's one or two of the Matanuska Glacier, which is found far south of Denali in the Kenai area.

Jason, those pics are un f'n believeable. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Bart. I love Alaska. Everyone should go there. So, I figured that while everyone is planning their trips I could hold em over with some shot that I love. ;)

Wow, I just checked Mapquest and that is only 3337 miles one way, which is 58 hours of non stop driving, x 5 children in a minivan and a wife that does not like to take long trips = 10,000 virtual reality miles, 2000 hours of my life subtracted when accounted for mental duress and a second mortgage on my home to pay for the gas.

I think I will just go to my happy place by reviewing the pictures again. Thanks for the virtual vacation I was able to take today;).
