O.K., long story short. I'm trying to finish up two axles and several little projects on the pile (some call it a YJ) before EJS.
1. Looking for a pinion yoke for a Dana 60 front axle from a '79 Ford 1 ton. This yoke needs to fit a 1310 u-joint. The one I currently have fits a 1350 u-joint. Something cheap if possible, willing to trade my yoke for yours.
2. I need to do a regear on both my axles. Where have you guys found the best prices on parts for R&P's? Looking at 5.38's for both axles. Thick gears, reverse cut.
3. Looking to do some cutting to fit my 40's. Is there a "template" for what most of you guys have done or is it trial and error? Obviously if I cut too much off for my liking...oops..., but I don't want to have to cut, check, cut, check...see where I'm getting at?
4. The ignition in the Jeep is becoming a PITA. Anybody ever convert there newer (90's+) rigs to a push button start with the ignition just supplying the juice?
5. Shocks. Anybody got a good deal on longer shocks right now. I may wait on these until after EJS. Finalizing the "trigger pull" decision to go four link and coilovers.
