I don't really care either way...I've been on there since 2001 but I haven't spent a lot of time there in like 6 or 7 years...just not interested anymore.

Lance is just doing what is best for his family, he took the money, got a job with the company, and is reaping the benefits of his labor. More power to him. It's not like the PBB was the last bastion of beauty and light in a community that changed the world for the better that is now going to be polluted by corporate greed...it's just a website.

Didn't read the whole thing, but no Lance could only be an improvement. Pirate = endless good info. + endless douchebags. A change in the balance would be nice.

VS bought a forum from me, and from my experience when they see what they want they'll pay for it. They also have a decent idea of what forums are worth, which is why they own so many and still have millions of dollars to purchase more of them for.

Like was said, Lance got enough that he shouldn't need to work anymore. With that, I doubt he'll really stay aboard much longer than a year. Why the hell would he take orders from some canuckians about the direction of his board?

It will be interesting to see, I've been on Pirate since 2000 and have seen it go from a pretty quite place to an insane amount of traffic. I honestly keep my nose in the Land Cruiser section and nowhere else and honestly it has seemingly changed very little in the last 10 years, good peeps, good tech and some

Must be a Toyota thing. I hang mostly in the Hard Core Jeep section and it's calmed substantially. A guy recently asked a question about what trailer to tow with. He got 5 actual opinions on the trailer and one statement directing him the Tow Rig/Trailer section. A year ago he would have been blasted severely. I'm glad to see it changing.

I doubt it will change much, site seems to be steered by the masses of regulars, Years ago I spent a ton of time on PBB, now that RME has grown, PBB is a great place to visit, but RME Is home.
