Plan on Heading to Yuba for the First Time

Welp we plan on checking out what Yuba reservoir this weekend for some camping, atv riding, and maybe some fishing. We plan on camping on the beach and was wondering which beach you guys prefer. Im not normally a campground guy, but we will have some families with us, would it be worth going to the campgrounds? anything else in the area worth checking out while we are down there?

Coincidentally, I just finished and launched the new state parks website this morning. Here's info on Yuba:

My kids and their mom went down there a few weeks ago and had a great time. I guess there's some nice beaches and stuff.
