US Airways plane had to land in the Hudson... apparently everyone is ok, which is nuts! So far they're saying it's a flock of birds, which took out the engines. Crazy.

I hate hearing this stuff because my wife flies for work once or twice a month.
I guess Tim Bedore and his animal conspiracy is true.:)

They were showing pics of the plane just floating there. It must have stayed floating for at least 20 Min from what I saw, apparently people were just standing on the wings waiting for rescue. I don't know if they rescued the people but 3 ferry's were some of the first on scene.

Whats cool is the pilot was reported to be waiting for everyone to get rescued before him.

We had friends on that flight.... but they didn't end up taking it, in favor of the next one. Guess they got lucky as hell.

That pilot is a freakin' superhero-- news was saying he never got higher than 3200', which is mighty low to have to dive from, to keep airspeed. And he didn't eat it in the river, either, deadsticked a big-ass jet into the drink and no one died.

Amazing.
