I got an invite to do some wheeling in Moab with my old HS buddy Paul ( @Terrible Paulsy ), his wife Steph and their two daughters in their small but mighty TJ on 31's, with a rear locker. @Kramnden (Cam, Chelsie and their two kids were along for the ride as well in their JKU Rubicon. We opted for Poison Spider Mesa for the day, offering amazing views and plenty of challenges for all. We found the grave site next to the trail and spend some time talking about it. It's been cleaned up and there isn't much left other than some coins and misc small items. No grave marker or headstone. We ran the complete trail with the scenic loop, headed up to Where Eagles Dare, then on the way back caught the start of Golden Spike, going down Launching Pad and back out Poison Spider. The weather was OK, a bit chilly and windy and we had small snow squalls off & on thru the day. Spring time in Moab to a T!
