Jacey and I met up with the UXOC (Utah Xterra Owners Club) crew on Saturday for their annual Pony Express run. There were 11 Xterra's in all, ranging from stock - to lifted and locked, from yellow to Knight Armor grey.
We did about 400 miles round trip, and I loved the way that the Xterra handled, givin it's stock form. Getting used to hearing the VDC 'Vehicle Dynamic Control' took awhile for me. I ended up turning it off most the time anyways. I feel that with some better tires, this is a very capable and sturdy rig off-road.
I was one of two rigs that did not have gas cans tied to the roof... Almost felt left out.
On with the pics..
