Sounds like a great time! I was planning on heading to the swell with my family, but I may have to reconsider. I know my daughter would love to play on a sand dune  Thanks for the offer I'll let you know.

It's tough to beat the swell. But if you do decide to come I'll be stoked. You could even bring the CRV or the F350.

Something to consider if your coming from up north, they have been doing construction on Lehi Main, and have it closed about from the high school, but just before the round about. On black friday, that road might/might not be re-opened, (they have detours, but being black friday, it might be a nightmare to ge through there) I would recommend taking Redwood road down.

Sounds fun Steve, if I dont end up making Moab (only reason being funds) I will tag along! Sounds like a blast!!

Good call coco, I agree. If you're coming from south of Lehi, I'd take pioneer crossing. If you're coming from north of Lehi, i recommend taking redwood road.

It was open yesterday, I went that way to Rattlesnake.
Also the new road from I15 to Redwood is open.

I'm trying to get my rock assault housing partially installed tonight, and completely installed tomorrow morning. It's pretty chilly, and the motivation is low. But I'll head out to my garage if you head out to yours. :D

Update

Everything is off, old shocks, old control arms, springs, etc..

New control arms are on, springs are too long to pry in so in the morning I will go pick up a spring compressor, put on the shocks, torque everything down and should be ready. I have to get this all done before the Utah game so I can come camping with you.

My plans are to join you. I will text you or call you tomorrow but I would plan on My son and I.

I wish I would have seen this sooner! I don't think I could have gotten work off though. Have fun. BTW I got rid of the jeep, I think you will like my new vehicle...

sounds good Russ, best of luck. I highly doubt that my pickup will be done in time. If it's not, we'll take the wife's landcruiser.

My brother and I ended up going. Russ was there waiting for us, but my brother lost his keys for an hour, so rus ended up heading home (I don't blame him). We didn't make it out to Callao, but our roads were smooth and dry the whole way. It got quite cold at night, but we were prepared. Good times for sure. I'll get a trip report posted once my brother sends me the pics.

It was good to get out again, it had been too long.
