Poor 4runner

Friday after work, heading home, and traffic slowed, and the driver behind me didn't. She got underneath the runner, bent the control arms, got me pushed into the Denali in front of me, and got me spunned around, and I hit the wall. Then the Denali hit the Cadillac in front of them...

I am thinking the 4runner is totaled, but I am not sure.

Let them total it, buy it back turn into a crawler. Replace whatever is bent in the back and put a fender, hood and other parts. Call it good. It may never drive perfect again, but what a great second vehicle.

exactly my thoughts as well; buy it back cheap, and with the rest of the money youll get, build it up. looks like mostly suspension damage. buy it back, fix the body, and wheel it.

Sad day, sorry for your loss. Did the airbags go off? But, like Tyson said, you may get more money for it than selling it. I guarantee that's totalled, especially with 200k on it. What a perfect chance to buy it back and build it up. If you don't want to buy it back, let me know so I can think about buying it back.

Thanks all! It definitely sucks, but I am OK. If the buy it back price is right, (if it is totaled) I will probably buy it back, and part it out.

It did have the sunroof, worked too.

It is a 98, with the manual. Hoping to hear what insurance has to say tomorrow (hopefully)
